With diverse terrain and abundant water, hunting has always been excellent on The Fort Terrett Ranch. In the 1940's the state game department re-stocked the area with deer and a moratorium on hunting was observed to re-establish indigenous animals with great success. Trophy white tail deer hunting is exceptional on The Fort Terrett Ranch with free ranging axis and black buck antelope. The population of turkey and quail also make for excellent hunting. A 9' high-fenced, 170 acre wildlife compound was established for exotics, which is not currently in use.
