Headquarters:
| The
Rock House Ranch has an amazing 2,700 sq ft limestone rock house made of
individually hand cut Limestone extracted from the hill side directly
behind the home. Construction began in 1938 and was finally completed in 1943
due to the outbreak of WW11 in late 1941. The Limestone was cut by hand
using rock bars, star drills, and hammers. The slabs of Limestone were
then loaded by hand and transported down the hill on sleds pulled by teams of
horses and mules. Once the slabs were unloaded at the home site, the rock
was further cut and shaped by hand. This updated, all electric home has 3
bedrooms and 2 baths, a basement, and an attached two-car garage with a bedroom
above the garage. The house is a beautiful sight and remains solid to this day. | |
